Ipswich football legend Terry Butcher was one of the many crowd-pleasers at a Suffolk fete yesterday.
The former England and Town star got the action underway at the Bawdsey Spring Bank Holiday Fete and Fun Dog Show.
Held at the Bawdsey Recreation Ground, the annual fete featured a variety of fun family entertainment - particularly for canine fans.
Alongside the coconut shy, prize raffles and Punch and Judy, the dog show is always a popular attraction.
This year’s event featured categories such as most mischievous puppy, best golden oldie and waggiest tail.
The entertainment started at 2pm and continued throughout the afternoon with refreshments and games.
Previous outings of the event have raised thousands of pounds for the village hall and recreation ground, which has allowed for the tennis courts to be refurbished and outside exercise equipment installed.
