Specialist police drugs teams arrested a man on suspicion of supplying heroin as part of an investigation into the trade in a Suffolk town.
Jason Grimes, 44, of Lowestoft, appeared before magistrates this morning charged with three counts of supplying heroin.
Officers from the East Scorpion pro-active team, based in Lowestoft, had arrested Grimes at his address off Whapload Road yesterday, following an investigation into the supply of drugs in the town.
He was charged with three counts of supplying heroin and appeared before Norwich Magistrates Court this morning, where he was remanded in custody ahead of his next court hearing.
In a separate case, as reported earlier today, the East Scorpion team travelled to Woolwich, London, on Friday, to arrest Leon Warlock, 26, in connection with the supply of drugs in Lowestoft last year.
Warlock, of Ritter Street, south-east London, was detained in custody and appeared before Norwich magistrates on Saturday, June 24.
He has now been bailed by the court to appear at Ipswich Crown Court on July 24.
