Emergency services were called to a beach in Lowestoft tonight after a man fell unconscious.
The East of England Ambulance Service and Yarmouth Coastguard were initially called to assist the man after he fell ill, however neither was able to transport the man off the beach.
The Wattisham RAF Sea King Search and Rescue helicopter was then called to the beach around 9.15pm and transported the man to James Paget Hospital in Great Yarmouth.
