A Suffolk man who breached a court order banning him from contacting his former partner has been jailed for 12 months.
Jordan Fenner went to the woman’s house and also approached her in an alleyway despite a restraining order, Ipswich Crown Court heard.
Fenner, 25, of Beaconsfield Court, Haverhill admitted two offences of breaching a restraining order in June and breach of a suspended sentence order.
He was jailed for 12 months and the restraining order will remain in place until further notice.
Sentencing, Judge Rupert Overbury accepted his former partner “for reasons best known to herself” had invited him to her home, despite the existence of the restraining order.
The court heard the suspended sentence related to him biting a child.
Charles Kellett, for Fenner, said there was evidence his former partner had instigated contact between them.
