A man has been charged with burglary following an alleged incident at Clacton Town Hall.
It happened just before 1am on Wednesday, May 10, in Station Road.
Thomas Devers, of High Street, Clacton, has been released on police bail and will appear at Colchester Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, June 27.
Also in Clacton, officers are investigating after suspects forced entry to an address in Edith Road on Friday, May 19.
At about 1.20am it was reported that four suspects forced entry by kicking the door to the property open and pushed a victim, who was physically unharmed.
The suspects then left.
Officers conducted a search of the area and enquiries are ongoing.
