Paramedics and police were called to a road traffic collision in mid Suffolk just before 9am today.
They arrived at the scene, in Pound Hill, Bacton, to find two people had been injured in the crash.
The accident, which involved a Honda Civic, blocked the road in both directions for a short time while police and ambulance crews dealt with the incident.
It remained shut until recovery was arranged for the vehicles at approximately 9.45am.
The two drivers have since been taken to West Suffolk Hospital with suspected neck injuries, a police spokeswoman said.
Paramedics from the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust transported the pair to hospital via a land ambulance.
Their injuries are not thought to be serious or life-threatening at this time, the police spokeswoman added.
Witnesses to the crash or anyone with information should call Suffolk police by dialling 101 quoting CAD 70 of today.
