Framlingham Gala involved a whole weekend of festivities but the main attractions were yesterday when the annual parade was held through the town.

Sponsored by Hopkins Homes, the parade set off from Station Road at 12.30pm before making its way to Castle Meadow. This year’s theme for the floats and fancy dress entries was “London Shows”.

Other attractions held over the weekend included displays from The Tigers Motorcycle Display Team, the Smokehouse Blue Marching Jazz Band and Magic Olly.

Stocks Fun Fair was open all weekend, a craft fair took place on Sunday and Monday and there was also a car boot sale at Framlingham Sports Club in Badingham Road, from 10am yesterday.

Organised by the sports club, it is its biggest fundraiser of the year. Profits help to maintain its facilities.
