Top photographers from around the region are showing their exciting talent at an exhibition of work capturing a wide variety of topics.

The East Anglian Federation of Photographic Societies is staging the event, the Annual Exhibition of Monochrome Prints, Colour Prints and Projected Digital Images at Wingfield Barns, Church Road, Wingfield, near Eye.

More than 700 visitors viewed the exhibition during the two weeks of its display last year and organisers are hoping for even more this year.

The federation has 129 member clubs with almost 5000 individual members spread throughout Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk and part of Herts, with 300 members from 41 clubs submitting photos for the exhibition.

They entered 386 monochrome prints, 507 colour prints and 882 projected digital images for selection by three nationally acclaimed judges, Jean Brooks, Glyn Edmunds and Paul Keene. A total of 99 monochrome and 124 colour prints and 250 digital images were selected for display.

The exhibition is on daily from Saturday, April 29 to Sunday, May 14 between 10am and 4pm, except Monday May 8 and Tuesdays May 2 and May 9.
