Firefighters were called out to a bizarre incident in west Suffolk this morning in which a toddler got a training potty stuck on their head.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue was called at 9.27am to a home in The Street, Wetherden, where a “rescue” was required.
A fire service spokesman said firefighters arrived to find a two-year-old child had managed to get a training potty stuck on their head.
One fire crew from Elmswell attended, and spent three minutes with small cutting gear removing the problem potty.
It is not clear how the long the child had been wrestling with the improvised head-wear, but had been stuck with the potty for around 18 minutes from the time firefighters were called to when they removed the potty.
The crew from Elsmwell arrived at the house at 9.36am.
It is not clear how the child managed to get the item stuck on their head, or what material it was made from.
