Eighty-five musicians from Suffolk and Essex together with a small number of friends and partners head off next week for the west Midlands where they will stage five concerts.

Members of Trianon Music Group and their partner choir, the Anglia Singers, will be in Worcester for five days.

The group is holding concerts in the famous Belmont Abbey, Hereford, on October 26, along with three concerts for local charities in Worcester the following day.

The series will conclude with a concert on October 28 in which they will be joined by the Worcester-based Elgar Chorale in St George’s Roman Catholic Church, famously linked with Elgar and his father, both of whom were organists there.

The musicians are linked with a number of local organisations and raise money for charities including a local children’s hospice, and the outreach work undertaken by Belmont Abbey to relieve famine in Peru.
