POLICE have named a man who died after being found collapsed in an Ipswich street.

Police were called to Queen Street in Ipswich at about 6.50am yesterday by the ambulance service who were treating a man who had been found collapsed in the street by a member of the public.

The man was conveyed to Ipswich Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

He has been identified at Donatas Kislauskas, aged 29, from Wherstead Road, Ipswich.

An area along Queen Street, which was cordoned off by police as a precautionary measure while officers carried out their enquiries, has since been re-opened.

A post-mortem examination will be carried out tomorrow to establish the cause of death.

The coroner has been informed.
