The Blues secured their 16th successive season of Championship football with Easter weekend victories against Burton (2-1 away) and Newcastle (3-1 at home), but then lost 1-0 at rock-bottom Rotherham after Mick McCarthy made nine changes to his starting XI. A lowest league finish since the late 1950s (16th) is still a possibility with two games to go.

Sheffield Wednesday could seal a play-off spot with victory today. A draw may even do it depending on Leeds United’s result against Norwich.

Will Ridgard will host our live feed below which includes pre- and post-match analysis, team news, reaction and live Tweets from our chief football writer Stuart Watson at Portman Road.

Whatever the result there will be full reaction to the game in Monday’s East Anglian Daily Times and Ipswich Star newspapers.
