Ipswich skiing talent Alexa Eliff has been picked for the England under 16 alpine ski squad.
The talented skier, who attends Burke Mountain Academy and currently trains with CDC, a ski academy run by Olympian Chemmy Alcott, is excited about the season ahead.
The 14-year-old said: “It is an honour to be selected to represent my country at the sport I love. I am hoping this season I will be considered for one of the International Children’s Races and race for Great Britain.”
Alexa, who started skiing at the age of two, trains at Ipswich’s dry ski slope and dreams of one day representing Team GB.
Snowsport England Talent Development Officer Ian Findlay said: “We are delighted that Alexa has been selected to be part of the England Alpine Squad. She has shown that she has both the talent and attitude to become part of the squad, which will give her support alongside her existing training programme.”
