What: Winging It - John Bishop

Where: Ipswich Regent / Cliffs Pavilion, Southend

When: January 23-25 / March 8

Selling more than 250,000 tickets for the 2017 leg, the comedian has had to add extra dates. Lucky for us.

“You have to come up with a title for every tour. I was in my promoter’s office one day and he said to me ‘we need a title so we can start selling this tour. What are you talking about in the new show?’ And I replied ‘nothing. I’m just winging it’. ‘That’ll do’.”

He’s delighted by the reaction to the show.

“After a three-year break since my last live tour, it’s a great feeling to be back out on the road and performing in front of a live audience again,” John added.

“I’ve had nightly standing ovations and the audience reaction has been incredible. I’m really looking forward to continuing the tour into 2018.”
