A charity is working on a living history project and wants people to share their life stories about working with horses.

The Suffolk Punch Trust is dedicated to preserving the Suffolk Punch breed but also the skills of the people needed to handle the horses.

A meeting is being held at the Suffolk Punch Trust on Saturday, August 12, at 2pm to collect any information, stories or photos people may have to include in the living history exhibition.

Ideally, the organisers are looking for people who were involved at the launch of the Suffolk Punch Trust, or people who worked or lived on the site when the Trust was a colony or a prison.

The project will then have an area in The Suffolk Punch Trust centre, which is based in Hollesley, and will be displayed in the cinema room.

It will also be projected on screens throughout the site.
