Allardyce leaves Blackburn

SAM Allardyce has left Premier League side Blackburn with immediate effect.

The man who has been touted as a potential successor to Fabio Capello as England boss has today walked away from the Ewood Park club, who are currently tenth in the Premier League.

Blackburn lost to Allardyce’s former side Bolton 2-1 yesterday afternoon. His number two, Neil McDonald, has also left the club.
