BARCELONA could yet make a summer move to sign Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas.
Arsenal chairman Peter Hill-Wood claimed the Catalan giants had assured the Gunners they would not be making a move for the Spanish international but Barca sporting director Txiki Begiristain insists this isn’t the case.
Begiristain told AS newspaper: “If Barcelona consider it necessary for the team, they will go for him, whilst always respecting the negotiations.
“We’ve never said that we are not going to try to sign Cesc Fabregas. We’ll see what happens.”
