BIRMINGHAM City boss Alex McLeish has told the club's board to do everything they can to keep goalkeeper Joe Hart at St Andrew's.

BIRMINGHAM City boss Alex McLeish has told the club's board to do everything they can to keep goalkeeper Joe Hart at St Andrew's.

Hart has been in impressive form for the Blues during his season-long loan from Manchester City and McLeish has told chief executive Michael Dunford to step up their attempts to keep the player.

“We spoke to City a couple of months ago. Joe has had no contact from them and we've had no contact.

“But I know I've put into the system that our chief executive should be talking to City about next season.
