The region’s ‘Best Employers’ to be revealed at awards conference

The results are in – is your business among the East’s best companies to work for?

Innovative and inspiring methods of employee engagement will be in the spotlight at an inaugural business conference.

The Best Employers Eastern Region 2018 Awards Conference is taking place in Newmarket on Wednesday, exploring how businesses are working to better engage their employees and discussing how to make workplaces more engaging.

Tickets for the event at the Rowley Mile Racecourse are sold out.

Best Employers Eastern Region, updated for 2018, was launched in January, setting out to find companies which go the extra mile to keep their staff happy while encouraging healthier, more productive workplaces.

It is being delivered by founders recruitment company Pure and psychometrics experts Eras, along with publisher Archant and law firm Birketts.

The first surveys for companies to track the engagement and motivation of their employees went live in April. All entrants were entered for the awards ceremony, with gold and platinum accreditations available.

The conference event will feature sessions with guest presenters from businesses including property consultants Bidwells, creative agency Made, IPRS Health, and People and Change.

There will also be a rundown of the trends from the 2018 survey from Eras’ Paul Henderson.

The winners will be announced in the afternoon and will then lead a Q&A session.
