A care team is celebrating after inspectors rated the service ‘good’
The Clacton branch of Manorcourt Homecare, which provides personal care and support to people in supported independent schemes and in their own homes across the Clacton and Colchester areas, was given the rating following an inspection by the Care Quality Commission.
The business, part of the Healthcare Homes Group, is based at Canters Meadow Court site in Clacton. Inspectors reviewed records of people using the service, staff recruitment and training processes and quality monitoring records.
Branch manager Kathy Taylor said: “I’m so pleased that the hard work of the team here in Clacton has been recognised by inspectors by rating us as ‘good’ in every area. For us, feedback like this, along with that from service users, is so important. Our work is all about promoting dignity and independence.”
