HR firm Waddington Brown has announced a collaboration with a charity supporting victims of domestic abuse.

The firm, based at Claydon, near Ipswich, is hosting an event examining how to deal with the effects of domestic abuse in the workplace. It takes place at The Cookhouse at Suffolk Food Hall, Wherstead, on Tuesday, June 12 from 8.30am to 10.30am.

“Domestic violence has a huge impact on businesses and their staff,” said the firm’s managing director Emma Gunton. “The human and emotional costs to individuals affected by the issue are immense.”

The event will examine how to support employees and spot the signs as well as putting a policy in place. Katherine Ahluwalia, training co-ordinator at Lighthouse, will share her insights.

To book a place, email Kerry.bloomfield@waddingtonbrown.co.uk or call 01473 359159. The cost is £15, with proceeds going to the charity
