Regional law firm Birketts raised £750 for the Riding for the Disabled charity after organising a charity tennis tournament.
Eight teams took part in the inaugural charity tennis tournament held earlier this month at the Ipswich Sports Club. The final, saw Sean Milbank and Matthew Sparrow from Milbank Concrete run out winners against Boyd and Jane Mulvey from Chorus Intelligence.
Partner in Birketts’ Mark Henry said: “Thankfully the weather was kind and the sun shone all day. We plan to make the tournament an annual event and look forward to building on our very enjoyable and competitive first event.”
He added:“Riding for the Disabled teaches riding and carriage driving to disabled children and adults, regardless of their disability. The Woodbridge and District branch are currently in the throes of moving premises from Hollesley to Clopton, and we wanted to give them a helping hand.”
