Fenn Wright cyclists raise more than £6,500 for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices with long distance trek.
A team of cyclists from long-established regional estate agents Fenn Wright raised more than £6,500 for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices, with a special ride to marke the 250th anniversay of the company.
The 12 volunteers braved a 90 mile route from Fenn Wright’s most southerly branch office, in Chelmsford to the newest office recently opened in Woodbridge, Suffolk, visiting all seven branches in between.
They werer also joined by a number of other colleagues who supported them by joining in and cycle on various legs of the journey.
At Woodbridge they were greeted by EACH fundraising assistant Georgia Mooney, who tracked them by GPS on the day.
The united efforts of the riders totalled a journey of 1,500 miles - and £4.30 being raised for each individual mile cycled.
The funds will go towards the 450 families being supported by East Anglia’s Children’s Hospice at any one time in the region.
