An art installation conceived and built in Ipswich has been unveiled at a new retail and employment site in the town.
Nacton’s Futura Park developers AquiGen commissioned a work from University Campus Suffolk which ran a contest among its art students to find the best entry. The winner was 30-year-old Romanian fine art student Andrei Costache, whose work, Never Ending Line, was brought to life by Claydon Architectural Metalwork. His series of metal lines at varying degrees of uprightness line the route to the park.
AquiGen bosses Paul Isaacs and Paul Hirst praised the work, and said they were working on securing new tenants for a third phase of the development in the near future.
