Needham Canine Creche, which is run by Julie Edmonds and Arrin Crain, was set up as a franchise business on the Lion Barn Industrial Estate at Needham Market a year ago.

The original Suffolk Canine Creche, based at Martlesham, near Woodbridge, was founded in 2011 by Candace Rose, who rolled out the luxury pet care concept to other towns.

Arrin said they were “excited” to be launching a grooming spa in the spring. “We are very fortunate to have a local legend stylist joining our team and we will be using top quality, natural products to help promote healthy, hydrated skin and coat,” she added.

Julie said the aim was to provide a safe, positive and fun environment for dogs.

“We always wanted to create a place that you would feel guilty NOT taking your dog to creche because you knew he was missing the excitement and his friends,” she said.
