Suffolk scrap merchants Whip Street Motors recently donated £1,000 to East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) - the latest instalment in its generous support of the charity over the years.
In total, the vehicle recycling company from Ipswich has contributed almost £15,000 over the past decade. The business also sponsored EACH’s Stowmarket Glow Walk in October.
Director Charlie Baker said: “My brothers and I are very proud supporters of EACH. We’ve visited The Treehouse on numerous occasions and are overwhelmed by their work. We’re so happy to donate to such a worthy charity.”
EACH Suffolk Corporate Fundraiser, Victoria Matthews, added: “Support from the Suffolk business community is essential in allowing us to continue providing vital services.
“Whip Street Motors are exceptionally generous and set an example for all businesses to follow.”
