PARMENTER Ernest Jackman (MBE) passed away peacefully on October 15th, 2021, aged 99 years. Devoted husband to the late Pat, who were happily married for 40 years. Loving dad to David and Ian (Ben) and loving father-in-law to Amanda and Elaine. Much loved grandad / Poppa to his six grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. The Funeral Service will be held at Ipswich Crematorium, West Chapel, on Friday, November 12th, at 11.45 a.m. followed by a Burial at Rushmere Lawn Cemetery, at 1.00 p.m. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to be made payable to the British Legion, may be sent c/o East of England Co-operative Funeral Services, 47 St Helen’s Street, Ipswich, IP4 2JL.
