RAFA Benitez looks set to be named the new Inter Milan boss after president Massimo Moratti indicated a deal is close.
Benitez left Livepool by mutual consent on Thursday and has since been strongly linked with the Champions League winners, who recently saw Jose Mourinho leave.
Moratti told reporters in Italy: “The next few hours could be decisive. But we must ask (technical director Marco) Branca.”
Reports in Italy suggest Benitez will sign a three-year deal worth five million euros per season.
