IPSWICH Academy are closing in on their Wembley dream with Football League U13 Girls Cup progression.
The Suffolk side, competing in the national six-a-side tournament for U13 schoolgirls, are just two rounds away from a possible date with Wembley.
Another victory next week, making them area winners, will see them advance to next month’s regional finals, staged at the home of Milton Keynes Dons.
Then they will battle it out against other successful teams for a place in the prestigious grand final, to be held at Wembley in the build-up to the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy final on April 7.
