A garden designer from east Suffolk is celebrating after winning two awards for her work at a prestigious ceremony.
Sue Townsend, who lives in Westleton, near Leiston, took the titles at the Society of Garden Designers 2014 Awards in London.
Her work at a manor house in east Suffolk won the Planting Design category, with judges commending her “complete control of spatial design”. She also won the Small Residential Garden award for a contemporary curved courtyard in Ipswich, which was praised for merging “effortlessly” three challenging spaces.
She said: “I am over the moon to receive such high recognition.”
