FORMER Chelsea midfielder Claude Makelele has announced plans to retire at the end of the season.
The 37-year-old has been an almost ever-present at Paris St Germain for the last three seasons but plans to hang up his boots at the end of the current campaign.
“It's really my last season,” Makelele said. “My future is behind me.
“Today it's my last season, but tomorrow that could change.”
