A £1,000 REWARD is being offered for information on the whereabouts of a man believed to be responsible for scores burglaries across southern and eastern England.

Peter Sonny Martin O'Halloran, 33, who has been named on the national Crimestoppers Most Wanted website, is believed to have committed a large number of break-ins in the Cotswolds, and also in Essex, Cambridgeshire, Oxfordshire, and Wiltshire.

Other areas he may have targeted include Suffolk, the West Mercia police area, Warwickshire and Hampshire.

Gloucestershire police said he was also wanted for recall to prison having failed to comply with conditions of his release from jail following a sentence for previous offences.

Det Sgt Dave Doherty, of Gloucestershire Constabulary, said: “O'Halloran has evaded us for some time now and we firmly believe he is still active in targeting residential properties and stealing jewellery which amounts to hundreds of thousands of pounds.

“He sometimes goes by the name of Peter Noon, or other aliases, and someone must know where he is.”

Anyone with information on O'Halloran's whereabouts should ring Gloucestershire Constabulary on 0845 090 1234, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
