THOUSANDS of toasters have been stolen from a lorry in Bury St Edmunds.
Police were called to Kempson Way in Bury St Edmunds after thieves broke the locks to the container-carrying truck.
The incident happened between 11.35pm on Wednesday and 6.30am the next morning. Police say the thieves made off with 2,000 boxed toasters. Anybody with information should contact PC Guy Mitchell on 01284 774100 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
