A still-growing Facebook group with more than 12,000 members is set to expand with a new website.

We Love Bury St Edmunds has proved a social media hit since it was set up in December, with 12,200 members at the latest count.

Founder James Sheen has previously spoken of his plans for the venture, which include a new website and publicity events in the town.

A YouTube trailer for the new website was released yesterday, with a video released the day before on Monday showing a new t-shirt and badge designed especially for members of the Bury social media movement.
