Five men have been arrested after a cannabis factory was discovered in Lakenheath.

A warrant was conducted yesterday morning at a property in Back Street in the Suffolk village.

Over 300 cannabis plants were found inside the address.

Five men were arrested at the scene of the incident in connection with the find, Suffolk police said.

The men, aged 34, 55, 27, and two 38-year-olds were all arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis.

They were taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning, where they remain.

Enquiries are ongoing and officers are in the process of dismantling the cannabis factory today.
