A man who lived in an underground dwelling in mid Suffolk for over three years has been moved on by police.
The man took up residence in a woodland off the A14 in the Haughley and Stowmarket area in February 2019 and was living in a tent.
According to Suffolk police, action was taken this week due to ongoing reports of anti-social behaviour and criminal activity in the area.
A multi agency partnership was launched and police used anti-social behaviour powers in order for him to vacate.
The woodland has now been returned to public use, with the hole being filled in and land cleared.
A video of the filling process was posted on the Stowmarket police Twitter account.
