A Suffolk restaurant has announced the relaunch of their roast menu as the summer months draw to a close.

Damson & Wilde, located on Abbeygate Street in Bury St Edmunds, moved into the former Café Rouge site after it closed in 2020.

Damson & Wilde opened its doors in June 2022 and serves food from 10am until late most days.

Known locally for its delicious roasts, the eatery decided to take a brief hiatus from serving them to make way for a new summer BBQ menu.

They announced their news on social media in a post that read: "Watch out Bury, our roasts are BACK!"

"Summer is coming to an end and we’re saying goodbye to our Sunday BBQs until next year. Starting this Sunday (September 3) we’ll be serving up our famous roasts once again, don’t miss out!"

While it has an independent feel to it, Damson & Wilde was opened by the City Pub Group which owns 43 establishments across the southern half of England and Wales.
