A Stowmarket road was closed after a bin lorry got stuck in a hole. 

Fairfield Hill in Stowmarket was shut by police after the vehicle got trapped in the hole on Monday morning.

A spokesman for Suffolk police said the road had given way. 

The hole is one metre by one metre and around one metre deep, the spokesman said.
