A recent stellar performance from BMX club riders saw them claim a prestigious runner-up spot in British Championships.
Braintree Bullets BMX Club secured second position in the high-profile competition against formidable rival, Birmingham BMX Club.
Ninety-one Bullet riders took part in the event in Derby along with 1,280 other contestants nationwide, resulting in 23 finalists and five British Championship titles.
Among the victors, Freia Challis triumphed in the Championship women's class, achieving her third domestic title.
The 16-year-old Halstead resident impressed spectators with a phenomenal time, rivalling Beth Shriever's record in 2023.
Challis plans to compete in Belgium's final European Cup series round next week, aiming to secure series title before progressing to the junior elite ranks.
Phoebe Millar, the youngest Bullet title holder, won the 8s category without defeat throughout the qualifiers, clinching victory with an impressive jump.
Ethan White also earned a podium position in the boy's class, achieving second place.
In the 9s category, Holly Bishop exhibited superior track skills to secure victory.
Despite beginning in second place, Bishop managed to surpass the leader and secure the British title.
Teammate Rex Ford unfortunately fell to eighth due to a fall in the first turn.
In the 13s age group, Katie Millar dominated her class undefeated, to claim the title, with Oliver Tyers following suit in the boys' class, both of whom remained unbeaten throughout rounds of qualifying races.
In the cruiser classes, Adam Arnold claimed his first podium finish in the 9-12s category, while Thomas Millar secured fourth place for the 15-16s group.
