A Woodbridge drug dealer who was found to have ketamine worth more than £5,000 when police carried out a raid at his bedsit has been given a suspended prison sentence.
Regan Shotison was alone in the property when police gained access by knocking the door down and seized 229g of ketamine and £1,829 cash at his address in the east Suffolk town, Ipswich Crown Court heard.
Juliet Donovan, prosecuting, said the drugs had been valued at £5,725 by an expert.
Shotison, 34, of Thoroughfare, Woodbridge, admitted being in possessing ketamine, a class B drug, with intent to supply in January 2023.
He was given a 14-month prison sentence that was suspended for two years, a 50-day rehabilitation activity requirement and ordered to pay £380 in costs.
Judge Martyn Levett made a deprivation order for the £1,829 in cash that was found at Shotison’s bedsit.
