A 21-year-old man who demanded nearly £4,000 from a man he was blackmailing has been warned he is likely to be jailed when he is sentenced next month.
Before Ipswich Crown Court on Thursday, September 19, for a plea hearing was Alexandru Florea, of Guildford Way, Thetford.
He pleaded guilty to making an unwarranted demand with menaces for £3,953 between June 26, 2022 and August 28, 2022.
Judge Emma Peters adjourned sentence until October 31 for a pre-sentence report and warned Florea it was likely he would be sentenced to a jail term.
Florea is on bail.
