Drivers are being warned of disruption while a busy route in and out of a Suffolk village is closed.
The B1508, Sudbury Road, just outside Bures will be closed between 8am and 6pm from Monday, October 28 to Friday, October 31.
According to the Suffolk County Council website the official diversion route for the closure is 14 miles long.
The diversion is measured this way as it has to include A-roads for larger vehicles that wouldn't be able to use smaller roads along the route.
While the road is closed, UK Power Networks will be carrying out urgent works in the area.
Road signs have also been put up in the area warning drivers of the possible delays.
