500 sewing machines stolen from Bury St Edmunds lorry

Police are investigating

Thieves broke into a parked lorry and made off with 500 sewing machines,

Police announced the theft took place when the articulated lorry was parked just off the A14 westbound, one mile before the A142 junction at Bury St Edmunds.

It happened between 9pm on January 27 and 6am on January 28.

Police asked for anyone who witnessed the incident or had any information to contact Bury Police on 101 quoting crime reference 37/14572/16 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
