PUBLIC consultation over proposals to dual the A11 has been extended by the Highways Agency.
The improvements to the A11 would dual the last single carriageway section of the road, which stretches nine miles from the Fiveways Roundabout at Barton Mills, near Mildenhall, and Thetford.
The scheme includes a bypass which will take traffic away from the village of Elveden, which has Conservation Area status.
The agency has today confirmed consultation on the proposals has been extended by four weeks and anybody wanting to comment on the proposals has until March 19.
