DRIVERS faced delays after a two-car smash on the A12 junction with Foxhall Road in Ipswich at 5.50pm.

DRIVERS faced delays after a two-car smash blocked the A12 junction with Foxhall Road in Ipswich for an hour at rush hour today.

Police closed the inside lane of the north-bound carriage after the crash between a white Vauxhall Combo van and a red Toyota Auris at 5.50pm, in which a woman suffered neck pain.

Tailbacks grew as the Highways Agency cleared the scene of spilt oil but the lane was re-opened at 6.20pm.
