Two vehicles came off the carriageways on the A12 and A14 this evening during the wet weather.

The first incident took place at 5.10pm at East Bergholt when a Land Rover ended up in the central reservation.

Suffolk Police reported that there were no injuries and the road was cleared by 5.50pm.

Meanwhile, a vehicle came off the road and ended up in a ditch on the A14 at Risby, at 8.25pm.

Officers were sent to the scene to deal with the incident.

Today we can finally reveal the names of the people selected to be on our first ever Inspiring Women of Suffolk list.

This is a list that Suffolk should be proud of - 100 women who are positive role models for future generations, women who have achieved success in a diverse range of fields from business, the arts, sport and education to the third sector.
