A 22-YEAR-OLD man has today been sent to Crown Court following a robbery on the A12 near Lowestoft earlier this week.
Matthew Goddard, of no fixed address, has been charged with the robbery of a 45-year-old woman near Rackhams Corner, Corton, on Tuesday.
He spoke only to confirm his name when he appeared at Lowestoft magistrates court this morning. He has been sent to Ipswich Crown Court and has been remanded in custody until he appears there on July 14.
He has also been charged with handling stolen goods, theft and making off without payment in relation to other incidents which occurred overnight Monday / Tuesday.
A 17-year-old boy arrested in connection with the incident is due return to Lowestoft Police Station today.
A 14-year-old boy arrested yesterday has been bailed to return to police on July 29.
