Road users are advised to allow extra time for their journeys during work by British Telecom on the eastbound carriageway of the A120 Tinker Street near Ramsey, Essex.
The work starts from 8pm on Friday 13 January and is expected to take up to 10 days to complete, which includes time for the concrete to harden.
During the work there will be 24-hour, two-way traffic lights in place on the A120.
To minimise disruption the lights will be manned during the morning and evening peak periods.
