A serious crash involving four vehicles closed a busy road in Essex for more than two hours this evening.
Essex Police received reports of an accident at about 4.20pm in the Colchester-bound lane of the A120 near the junction with the B1352 at Ramsey.
A police spokesman said four vehicles were involved although none of the injures are thought to be life threatening.
The eastbound carriageway had reopened shortly before 7pm, and the westbound carriageway was open by 7.30pm after vehicles were cleared.
