Police called to crash on A14


MOTORISTS are advised to avoid the A14 at the Orwell Bridge after vehicles collided on the westbound carriageway.

Emergency services are currently at the scene of a crash which is causing lengthy tailbacks.

The crash, which took place at 4.50pm near to the Orwell Bridge is believed to involved several vehicles.

No one is believed to have been seriously injured in the incident, however the road is blocked and is expected to remain blocked until recovery is arranged.

A Suffolk police spokesman advised motorists to avoid the area.
